All versions of Redmi Note 7 are being tested on the basis of Android 10 using MIUI 11. Xiaomi, however, is only testing the MIUI 11 ROM Chinese models in beta and it might take a while before Xiaomi rolls it out for other regions.
For the new Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro, the Android 10 update has yet to be rolled out. Users should expect more security features and more privacy roles with Android 10.
As well as a new gesture navigation system, the Android 10 update brings Dark Mode. MIUI 11, however, already has a dark mode and a gesture navigation system that could have inspired the 10 gestures of Android.
